The Chapel in the Woods is run by Tom and Carolyn of Poconos Weddings LLC, a husband-and-wife team with over 30 years of combined experience in holding and supporting life’s most meaningful moments. Their approach is warm and grounded, they understand the distinct rhythm of intimate elopements.
Tom is also a Pastor and is one of our officiants at Jim Thorpe Elopements. Couples appreciate how he crafts ceremonies through conversation, allowing the tone to be religious, spiritual, modern, or minimalist, depending on the couple. Whether you’re writing your own vows or prefer something simple, Tom has a calm, reassuring presence that elevates the moment without overshadowing it.
